GMCD No-Till Drill
Rental Agreement
I, _______________________________, agree to the
following conditions when using the GMCD No-Till Drill:
I will assume all responsibility when using the
No-Till Drill
Upon receipt of the drill, I will complete the rental
agreement and contact GMCD with the beginning meter
reading and approximate time to needed to complete drill
project.
I will assume all responsibility for the results of
the work done with the drill and will not hold GMCD
responsible for any accidents that may occur while the
drill is on my property or in my possession.
I understand that I am responsible for any damages to
the drill or trailer.
The drill must be in as good condition upon return as
when it was rented.
Only clean seed with no rocks or foreign matter will
be used.
The seed box must be cleaned after use, by being blown
out by air hose or vacuum out. Seed box is not to be
power-washed. The fertilizer box must be cleaned and
treated with clean diesel.
If additional cleaning of the drill is required there
will be a $50 fee assessed.
I will not hold GMCD responsible for any accidents
that may occur, either during transportation or use. I
acknowledge that the prevention of accidents arising out
of or related to the work is my responsibility. I agree
to defend, indemnify, make whole and hold harmless GMCD
with respect to any and all claims arising out of,
related to, or in any manner connected with the use of
the drill.

General Instructions for No-Till Drill Use
When No-Till drill is either picked-up or delivered to
the next rental user, the person renting the drill needs
to:
1. Enter the meter reading numbers on the Rental
Agreement,
2. Complete and sign the agreement and then contact GMCD
(406-827-4833)
3. Leave the following information with GMCD staff or on
answering machine:

Phone Number
Meter reading numbers before using the drill
Estimated date of completion of drill project which
will provide tracking and scheduling use of the drill.
If the drill is not clean or in good operating
condition, before you use the drill, you need to notify:
West end of County: Bill Naegeli (827-6955, 827-4887,
249-6100) or
East end of County: Don Feist (826-3701 X 3, 826-5025)
or
East end of County: Troy Hidy (826-3701 X 3)
Note: If the drill is not properly cleaned there will be
a $50 charge assessed to the appropriate drill user.
When the drill project is completed, the Finish meter
reading needs to be entered on the Rental Agreement. The
acreage number is entered and rental amount computed at
$6/per acre and entered.
The total rental charge includes the per acre amount and
a $25 maintenance fee. A check should be made out to
GMCD for the Total rental charge and mailed with the
original, completed and signed rental agreement to GMCD.
(An addressed envelope is provided in the storage box on
the drill.)
